Final Memories
- He tended to be a picky eater, preferring the seafoods and the chicken to the beef and turkey. Dry food was always availlable to him for him to nibble on, but he always ate his half can to a can of moist food in the morning. He never ate too much and thus always kept to a good weight, he just knew when he was full. Later I would treat him to a bit of the meats/seafoods etc I would eat for dinner when I ate at home, he seemed to get used to that luxory. My last memory of him eating was him chowing down the lightly cooked fresh tuna I gave him.
- When he was still small he would curl up next to my head on my pillow and sleep when I slept. Later he would attempt to sleep near my head but being so big he would end up just taking up a lot of space on the bed. Space I gladly gave to him when I could. The last day I spent with him, he slept a bit in his box and so I took a nap next to him, sharing his space...
- He was always full of curiousity and always needed to look and see and explore everything. Anytime he got out (he was an indoor cat, but sometimes he would get out when a door was left open or something) he would sneak off and start attempting to smell and explore everything. When I knew his time was coming, we spent some time at an outdoor park where he got to explore and smell the new smells. The last day we spent together we walked about the field outside my place and he kept exploring till he felt he needed a rest. I will never forget his look of excited curiousity he always had when someone new came to the apartment or when we went to a new place or a new apartment. He lived to the utmost, the most anyone could hope to do.
